CALIFORNIA 2026 POLICY CHANGES

Due to recent changes to the California Firearm Industry Responsibility Act (AB 1263), we are required to implement additional procedures for all orders shipping to California addresses.

Because certain firearm parts and accessories may be broadly interpreted under the law as potentially “increasing a firearm’s rate of fire or the speed at which a firearm may be reloaded,” we are taking a conservative, good-faith approach to compliance.

These policies are intended to ensure lawful use of our products and do not constitute legal advice.

Checkout Requirements (California Orders)

At checkout, customers shipping to California must acknowledge and certify that they will not use any products purchased from Dutytac.com to:

  • Manufacture more than three firearms per calendar year in California

  • Manufacture a firearm using a three-dimensional printer or CNC milling machine in violation of applicable law

  • Manufacture a firearm for the purpose of selling, loaning, or transferring ownership without the appropriate federal or state licensing

  • Sell, loan, or transfer a firearm without a legally required background check conducted through a licensed firearms dealer

  • Allow, facilitate, aid, or abet the manufacture of a firearm by any person who is legally prohibited from possessing firearms

  • Manufacture or cause the manufacture of assault weapons, machineguns, undetectable firearms, unserialized firearms, unsafe handguns not listed on the California Department of Justice roster, or any other firearms or weapons prohibited under federal or California law

After acknowledgment, customers must upload a valid government-issued photo ID to verify age and California residency.

Order Verification

All California orders are subject to manual review prior to shipment. During this process, we will verify:

  • Customer identity and shipping address

  • Age eligibility in accordance with applicable federal and California law

  • That the order does not contain items restricted or prohibited for shipment into California

Orders that cannot be verified or are determined to be non-compliant will be canceled and refunded.

Prohibited Items

Certain products may not be shipped to California due to state or local restrictions.

Shipping to California

  • Orders may only be shipped to the address shown on the provided identification (no exceptions)

  • Signature confirmation is required upon delivery

  • The recipient must meet all applicable federal and California age requirements for the items purchased

  • California shipping is a flat rate of $15.00 due to additional verification and signature requirements
